McLean Dovetail Slides
Features & Specifications
Dovetail Slide CAD Files Now Available
Dovetail slides typically have a larger contact area as compared to fewer contact points of other style slide systems, providing a high stiffness and load bearing capacity. The dovetail interconnects the saddle & base and guides the travel of the saddle.
Dovetail slides can be preloaded with the gib adjustment for increased friction. The adjustable tapered gib compensates for wear and allows for the preload setting.
